Ederson, a midfield player for Atalanta, is a top target for Inter Milan. But only if Hakan Calhanoglu departs the team will the Nerazzurri make a play for the Brazilian international. Galatasaray has reportedly made their first bid for him. Inter will use the money to acquire Ederson as a replacement if they decide to sell Calhanoglu.
The Gazzetta points out that any amount Inter receives for the Turkish international will fall well short of Atalanta's own demand of €60 million for Ederson. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, therefore, Inter Milan’s aim would be to bring in transfer monies for certain marginal players in the group. Kristjan Asllani and Davide Frattesi, both midfielders, might follow Calhanoglu out the door. Additionally, they may undoubtedly generate respectable revenues while creating midfield openings.
